本校圖書館由於師生人數的增加研究教學資源不斷增長圖書館的館舍面積不足遂於民國九十五年十一月將原行政辦公用之瑞昌樓第一第二層樓及原圖書館使用之第三層樓全部改建為圖書館館舍面積約5966.04平方公尺資料來源總務處並規劃750席閱覽席次內含視聽室討論室研究小間多國語言學習區天橋閱覽區聽景長廊區百合閱覽區及校史室並充實數位內容及視聽設備等 內部採開放空間強調科技與資訊結合之學習空間館藏考量紙本與電子媒體並重以建構知識及藝術之殿堂的氛圍吸引讀者入館並顧及未來網路發展建立標準的結構化佈線系統及高速的網路系統亦考量配合衛星傳送資訊在軟體方面設計規劃一完整的圖書館資訊服務系統及多媒體電腦使用環境使得新圖書館與校園主幹網路連接進而與學術網路相連達成資源共享的目的
